Part x: Conclusion

After having looked carefully at the claims made by “Zeitgeist”, it is very clear that the section of their movie which deals with the Christian faith is either the most biased and unresearched piece of writing that I have ever seen, or they are outright lying in an effort to persuade people to their side.

Still, it doesn’t matter which one it is because at the start of the movie a profession of pure truth for the sake of truth alone was said to be the reason for the film. To produce a deeply untrue and obviously self motivated piece of information under such a sacred guise as “truth telling” is infuriating to those who truly try to do such as well as a wound to the cause of human betterment.

The outlook and philosophies of the Christians are among the most misunderstood and perverted of any religion on earth. The Holy Bible which is supposed to guide and inform those who believe in that faith, is dissected and taken out of context to prove and support the greedy motives of whoever does not wish to change, and thus the perversions and misunderstandings increase.

If however one will take the time to look past the hypocrites, past the belittling masses, and false representatives into the actual teachings of Jesus, they will find there a great many jewel for their personal betterment and reunion with Divinity.

The point of this paper was not and is not to convince you of the truth of the Christian religion; that is something one must research and experience for themselves. The point of this paper is however to show all who read it that they ought not disregard the tenets and teaching of the Bible as though they are unreasonable, second rate philosophies, copied and pasted together from the faiths of others.

The teachings and tenets of the Bible are deep, pure, and beautiful. When they are perverted and lied about it angers me, not as a “Christian”, or a small zealot of some name brand version of the teachings of Jesus, but as a genuine seeker of God and a lover of truth.

I would not say that I am in any way your ordinary reader of the Bible, I do have questions regarding its transmission, some of its instructions, as well as anger in regards to the way it is abused by people ignorant of it. That being said however, I do believe that the writings which form the Bible have at their root a Divine Mind. I do not believe that all of God and the Divine wisdom is recorded there in, nor do I believe it has been flawlessly transmitted down though the ages; but that Divinity was and is involved in the transmission of those writings for the betterment of all humanity there is no doubt in my mind. It was the Bible that first led me to an Awareness of Divinity and after years of study, it is the Bible that thus far defends its claim to a Divine origin the best.

Please do not let the wiles and prejudices of small and hypocritical creatures prevent you from trying, testing, and tasting the Bible for yourself, or anything else for that matter.

I do not need to beat my fellow being with limbs from the Tree of Truth, all I must do is defend the trunk and every branch of that Tree, so that its fruit will not be seen as poison.

Why do I not need to herd and goad my fellow humans? Because I know that the fruit of the Tree speaks for itself, and that the One who made it is big enough to prove the existence of the Divine itself.

True Religion is more than the cage of governments or the business of con-artists; it is the liberator of minds and the soother of souls. It does not detach the soul from reality, rather it plunges it into reality. It teaches the heart to see Nature as a teacher of truth and instructor of the ways of life. It teaches that no one is an island and that all are connected and all are to be respected and loved with unconditional compassion.

True Spirituality doesn’t bind the mind to symbols, systems, saints, or sages, it empowers the mind to explore beyond all that is known, to challenge all that is accepted and to kneel before the Divine, not out of fear or blind submission, but because the eye of mind has glimpsed the beautiful and flawless power and love of God. Thus worship is not a task, or a degrading thing, it is merely a pauper kneeling before the Highest King who teaches without reward, gives without concern, and judges with infinite understanding and unspotted justice.

Those who think that Divinity does or will do all things for them has never sat at the feet of the Infinite or learned the most basic lessons of life. Deos governs the Universe with flawless order and seamless wisdom. All things act and react and thus the whole Cosmos moves. We humans are no different, our actions are our own responsibility, and understanding how they effect our fellow humans is among the highest forms of wisdom; a lesson Divinity would have us learn.

Evil is committed in the name of anything those who commit it can use to sooth their conscience. Just as guns are only evil when they are held in wicked hands, so Religion and Spirituality are only evil when they are held in the hands of selfish and foolish creatures.

Myths and Lies abound in all major studies of human life: Science, Drama, Medicine, Politics, etc. and yet we do not fear or cry for their destruction. Neither should we cry for the death of Divinity or Divine Truth merely because a great many lie and pervert these also.

The only thing that has ever been responsible for the degrading and destruction of humanity is the selfish and evil hearts of humans. It is the heart that pours forth evil and it is a true connection with Divinity and Wisdom that changes and purifies that heart. True religion is not the cause of human woe; it is the key to human wellness.

Thank you for your reading and for your hunger to know. May blessings and peace guide you into Ultimate Truth.
